  29. This is not a problem with OS/2. One can run C-Kermit for OS/2; or
  30. in a DOS box or WIN-OS2 run MS-Kermit 3.14. If Windows 95 cannot
  31. run as well-behaved DOS COM program like MS-Kermit 3.14, then that's
  32. a Windows 95 problem, not a MS-Kermit one. (We licensed several copies
  33. of Kermit-95 for Windows 95 and it also works well). If any modem
  34. command happened to include Kermit reserved character(s), the Kermits
  35. that I used to know about allow an escape character to get around
  36. this in modem commands; e.g., an MS-Kermit modem initialization
  37. string may have to be: AT \92N4   to get the modem to issue: AT \N4 .

  40. In your case perhaps something like: AT 70\35,nnn-nnnn may work
  41. with MS-Kermit (Don't forget to add at least one comma after the
  42. cancel Call Waiting code so the phone system waits for cancel Call
  43. Waiting to "take" before the modem begins to dial the phone number.
